Hello, All,

I have taken on a great deal more than I was in the last months, and I am finding a pattern, wondering if anyone else has had this happen.

I get manic, fly around, do everything, feel great, don't have much sleep for one or a few days. I am speeding around getting all these things done - groups, meetings, projects with other people.
Then I have a day when I am sick physically - nausea, headache, aches all over. I am completely exhausted. Spend that day half in bed, half feeling just awful, and not doing much at all. I feel really sick. The next day, after all that rest, I am fine again and start speeding. Also, I get migraines on these bad days.

I do have fibro, which may account for this pattern, but I wondered about the bp. Anyone else?

Cheers and greetings,

Seaturtle

Seaturtle,

I experience the same thing after being manic. My pdoc told me this happens because manic episodes take so much out of our bodies that they literally shut down due to our high energy and all of the other things which go along with mania.
