:angel:Below is a recent picture of me.
The problem is that have flabby pecs, and spare tyre ie fat around waist and stomach.
Its very disheartining and frustrating when dont see any results after quitting drinking down to 4 units a week, and eating alot more fruit , slow realease foods like oats, etc bran stuff which never used to touch.
Not sure why weight isnt shifting, weight around 195 pounds estimate and cant seem to trim down waist or gut.
Of course do exercise, warm up then weights, in which sweat profusely but cant seem to shift the weight.
Take anti depressants in which probably doesnt have much effect with metabolism but it might.
Do the home bike, and do basketball, and a harvey squadon dvd in which do two intense circuits.
Going to try the paul mc kenna thing the psycological side to it listen to the guidance on mp3 and follow the golden rules, eat when hungry, stop when full, enjoy meal, eat what want to eat.
Cant afford an gym or anything that involves joing something so thats out, not wanting to try pills or fancy shit that is going to be chemical inducing the body.
So want to try swimming but am to self consciouss, but that is definatly a goal.
Really want to trim the chest, and waist.
Other then full tired quicker, and sluggish dont want to see it all the time as it wrecks self esteem etc.
Have mat for pilates etc floor work, but what other then sit ups are good for busting out calories or losing weight, push ups???
The bike how long at intermidate resistance should be on it for currently do about three sets of six minutes of full speed, but its more a warm up to heat up the body for weights.
Do go out walking, not for long would do running as used to love that but it hurts ankles and feet are so sore after, due to being heavy footed and all this extra weight cant afford to get specialized trainers and gait test as currently am unemployed and pretty skint.

Start off with push ups and pull ups (start off the best ya can, do supported pull ups.) Keep walking, every day. Next look at what you are putting into your mouth, cut out sugar and simple carbs. Eat more vetables and protein. Try and find a buddy that will work with you and make you accountable to what you eat and how much you exercise. The swiming is good, but even for someone who is in shape, it took awhile before I could swim laps for 20 min. DOn't worry about being self concious, most people will be impressed that you are attempting to change and work out than what you look like.
