Any1 had a stent inserted because of kidney stone/s???? If so could u tell me if u feel normal again when this comes out as it's just been a nightmare ever since I had the bloody thing????

Hi - do you still have the stent in? I have had stents before and been so uncomfortable but in my experience as soon as they are removed I feel completely back to normal. HTH!

I've had the steny in for 6 weeks now because I have a kidney stone.

Will be getting Lythotrypsy treatment in August to break up stones so I can pass them then get stent removed 6 weeks after that.

I have had 3 stents in before, but they were due to urinary tract obstructions. They were in from December 19, 2000 to September 15, 2001. Life has been all right after they came out. The only complaint I had while I had them were that I would have hematuria (blood in urine) often, and if I did strenuous exercise, it would hurt. I hope the lithotrypsy (sp?) goes well!
