I have been having a constant urge to urinate now for about seven weeks. I have been seen by a urologist and gynocologist. The gynocologist had done an internal ultrasound on my pelvis and said he found nothing. My urologist scheduled a CT scan and cytoscopy but for about a month from now but said he found no bacteria in my urine and a small (maybe normal) about of red blood cells. I've been having lower back pain on both sides feeling somewhat like a dull ache. It seems to get worse in the evenings and feels best in the mornings (at times almost unnoticeable) but in the evenings I just feel like my bladder is completely full when I've just voided. Also, I'm thristy all the time. Does anyone have any ideas about what I could be suffering from? Please, any advice would be very helpful.

Hi! My sister-in-law just finished a course of Cipro, and even though her back pain is gone, she still feels that sense of urgency when she goes. She said her doctor is trying to evaluate her too. If I find out anything, I'll post it here. Maybe it'll be helpful to point you in a certain direction. The comment about being thirsty all the time, have you been tested for diabetes? Some of these symptoms sound suspicious in that direction. Good luck!
