Two weeks ago, I began having bladder pressure and pain and assumed I had an infection. After repeated urine/blood tests, all was normal except for a trace amount of blood in one test and a higher than normal blood pressure. At the same time, I noticed a huge lump in my lower abdomen that turned out to be a hernia. A week after this, I experienced a night of extreme pain in my lower right side back and low right side abdomen. The bladder pressure feeling disappeared the next day. Right now, I have a slight feeling of pressure in my low back and some slight badder pressure that usually clears up after drinking lots of water. I've had a CT scan and IVP both with normal results. My doctor claims the hernia isn't related to my bladder or kidney, could she be wrong?

A hernia is not related to your bladder and kidneys and is caused by lax muscles from your stomach/intestines coming through to the surface and causing a lump under the surface of the skin. This needs surgical repair with mesh. It can however cause pain in the areas you mention, because there are nerve pathways running all around the area of the back and that is how you feel pain from transmission of nerve impulses down nerve pathways.
