What is the normal color of urine?
I find my urine sometimes crystal clear colorless.
Most often it's pale yellow.
And occassionally it is bright yellow.
Please educate me.

Ok. Basically, the colour of your urine depends a lot on your state of hydration. If you have drunk adequate fluids - water, then your urine can be profuse and colourless. However, if you are dehydrated, then your urine may look a bright/dark yellow colour and this means that you need to drink more water. Alcohol and coffee act as diruetics if drunk in large quantities and can then make your urine a lot more concentrated and darker in colour.
I think you have nothing to worry about. Your urine is on the normal colour scale. Also, what you eat can sometimes affect its colour too.
Sounds normal to me though.

If you are worried, buy Chemstix 10, on line or at a drug store. They are urine test strips. I routinely (once a day) check mine, just to be sure there are no problems. It gives peace of mind.
