Hi to all i was just wondering if there is a cnnection between myself and my son James(2years 8 month)he has Common Variable Immune Defiecency me i have enlaged left kidney and shriveled right kidney .
James used to take prohpylatic antibiotics but now has gone on to 2 weekly infusions .
My GP has now put me on prophylatic antibiotics untill i see specialist in about 2 month's time to help stop the infections,when i had my scan the man who did it said i proberly had this problem whilest i was carrying James he just said although enlarged left one look's ok? and the right one is scrared but does not know if it is working,so i am just woundering if my problem has something do with James as it his immune sustem that does not work as it should and also i have read some where that the kidney's can be related.
Also what sort of test's might they do to find out what my problem is i can cope with it better if i know what i might have to come.
Sorry to go on but i am just looking for a few clues.
