I had a Lithotripsy 4 days ago for an 11mm stone in my right kidney. So far have only passed 3 small granuals. I don't have a stent because I didn't think I could stand the discomfort. I'm wondering what other's experiences are after Litho. How long before you started passing gravel/fragments? Is this unusual? I'm starting to think that maybe they weren't able to break the stone up enough for me to pass it, and I'll have to have the procedure repeated. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif I have my follow-up appt on Friday. I'm drinking plenty of water every day, approx 125 oz a day http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/round.gif I appreciate hearing other's experience or input.
Thanks

Hope,
Thanks for your reply. About a month ago I ended up in the ER in excruciating pain, about 24 hours later I passed a 2mm stone, and after analyzing they said it was calcium oxlate(sp?) After that I had a CT where they found the big one and another small one in my right Kidney. Did you have a stent after your Litho? I'll try your suggestion about the lemon juice. Does that help them to pass? I don't care for cranberry juice so no problem there.
Thanks again. Hopefully something will pass in the next few days.
