Do dentists offer silver fillings anymore? I don't think there is any difference in pain. Obviously white looks a lot better.
As far as durability...my silver fillings outlasted the teeth... I had one baby tooth actually break in 3 pieces around the filling, and I spit out the hunk of metal intact. Going on 5ish years with while fillings and no problems.
