my name is michele i am 31 and was born with spina bifida so i use a wheelchair.also i had my bladder removed when i was 1 year old so i have a urostomy bag for my urine. i have been having chronic kidney infections for over a year now and i am in constant pain in my lower back on the left side. none of the doctors can tell me what is causing this or how to get rid of them. they keep putting me on antibiotics and nothing works . also the nurses at the hospital just think that im addicted to the pain medication. if there is anyone that has gone through this and recoverd or is going through this now please write to me. thanks michele

Please have your doctor do ANCA blood test ecspecially if you are getty worse. I was just diagnosed with Wergener's Granulatomisis (sp). This effects your kidneys. Wergener's is very rare or very undiagnosed. Your physician might not even know a whole lot about it either, but please have him test you ASAP!!!
