I'm getting off of the pill.
I need to get off the pill. It has been causing me horrible anxiety and depression. I want to get off the pill TODAY. But I had unprotected sex (except for the pill) Saturday. It's Monday now, I still have six more pills till the end of the cycle. I've been on the HBC since last year (April, so 11 months).
Would it be safe to get off the pill right now? Or is the risk of pregnancy too high? I still have six more pills to go and I know that to have effective contraception (especially in those 7 placebo days) you need to take all 21 active pills. But will 17 active pills give me enough protection from Saturday?
