I am 42, and have had some female problems, and going to have a Lapascopty done Friday. My doctor put me on Paxil to take 10 days before my period to help with pain.

Yesterday, my mother came over, and scared me. She is concerned about my face, yes, she said it look really puffy????? I just over my period, and drink tons of water. She has got me worried.:confused:

Should I call my doctor and get a water pill? I had blood work done about six months ago, and all was OK.

What should I do?? I Dumped the Paxil, for it is known for weight gain, but I still wear my same size close, and they are not tight.

What should I do????? I don't like this..........:(

you could call the doctor, or the pharmacist and ask them what they think.

Could it be allergies making your face puffy this week? I'm definitely being affected by the pollen this week.

Anytime you are on a new medication and have swelling, there's the possibility of an allergic reaction to the medication. Call your doctor and tell him/her what's going on. If, indeed, you DO have an allergy to a drug it needs to go into your medical records immediately. Don't panic--just call your doc and get advised. Good luck!
