I'm 24, quite clumsy, and I lead with the right side of my body. Normal stuff! Well, about 2 months ago, I stubbed my second toe really bad. I basically kicked my husband's military boot, and then, as I was jumping back in pain, he stepped on just the tip of that toe. Over the passed months, I have continually kicked things ( I have a 22 month old son, so there are cars and blocks all over during the day), people stepped on my foot (I was inside barefoot and two people with Danskos stepped on that toe in particular!)
Now the tip of that toe and the area around the nail has this funky blister like appearance. The skin is flaking off and it's hard and white looking. There is no oozing or pus.
I tried soaking it in Epson salt, it really didn't help much. I try to keep it moisturized.
Has anyone ever had anything like this?? It's kind of freaking me out.
There was one blister on the side of it that I popped, but no fluid other than blood came out, and it was not a blood blister! That healed slowly, but it did heal completely.
