skin around collar bone turn dark. what is it?

Coreen,
Does it look like dirt or velvet like? It can be nothing or thryoid or insulin resistance causing that.....Polycystic Ovarian Disease and Insulin resistance can cause that on your neck and under your arms.....Also a thyroid disorder can.....A hormonal change can do that also.
