why am i getting headache every day in the morning

hi.. I wake up with a headache everyday as well.. and if i dont wake up with one i get one later. but i went to the dentist recently and i found out that i could be clenching my teeth unintentionally during the night with will cuase.. headache, neckpain, shoulder pain, temporal pain.. and other stuff.

I was going to mention teeth grinding and/or clenching too. There's lots of info on the TMJ board at this site. Hope you find some relief.

Yes, I agree with the above posts. Also, I found that this was happening to me during the time of year when the sun rises earlier. The sunlight was bothering me and would give me a headache every morning. Then other times of the year it's still dark when I wake up at 6 or 6:30, so it wasn't as bad. For this I just needed a dark window shade and I used a sleep mask. Also, I found that not drinking enough water the previous day could give me a headache as soon as I woke up the next day.
