Hi,
I am currently caring for my husband who was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer last October. At that time he was told there was no treatment and was given 3 months to live. Ok six and a half months later he is still moving around and being the stubbon person that he is, refuses any sort of help. He keep reassuring me that he is ok but I sometimes wonder whether he is covering up and living with whatever? At one stage we had an Oncology Sister visiting the house just to say hello but she has since stopped calling and I seem to be it. One thing she did say was that yellow eyes was one of the last stages of the disease and as they have gone a pale yellow just recently I was wondering what your opinion is and if you can shed any light on this for me.

Hi LadyJane, First of all I am very sorry to read that your husband has cancer of the liver, I should not even complain about my problems. Cancer is a terrible sentence to have.
I also wanted to say that I wish I could help with your question about the yellow in the eyes. I don't think necessarily that you have to be close to death to have yellow in the whites. But, maybe you could find the answers somewhere by doing a search if no one answers here. There must be some sites with information for you to look over. Good luck on your quest.
