View Full Version : Flushing and nausea

Hi

I've had a whole lot of weird symptoms that have been going on for a couple of years now. They seem to constantly change (or progress) and this is where I am know and would appreciate any input.

Through a lot of trial and error I have found that anything more than one alchoholic drink (eg. 2 or 3)in an evening brings on radical facial flushing for me the next day.

I will wake up feeling fine and rested but about 10 -11am the next day I go incredibly hot in the head, face and neck and I get a nauseas feeling which leaves me with a 'hangover' through the whole day until I go to bed that night. This is strange for me as I used to be able to consume a fair amount of alcohol without any problems (unless I overdid it of course - I would get a normal hangover but that was not often). Sometimes the flushing is accompanied by a low grade fever.

I also experience a slight pain on my right abdomen (about mid way bewteen my ribs and hip) but I do not know if this is related. The flushing is extreme to say the least and lasts for most of the day.

Any ideas on why I should be reacting like this. Its been going on for over a year now.

Thanks in advance
