Last March I became very sick. Incredible fatigue, fever, my face felt like it was burning, dizziness, etc. I was in bed for two months before gtting better. I went to several doctors and had several diagnosis before going to a internist and having a full physical which showed elevated liver enzymes. He told me I probably had a virus earlier and they would return to normal. Next visit they were the same so he did a abdom ultrasound and a hep test. Both negative. Here it is almost a year later and I still have headache, and a hot feeling on my forehead. Some days worse than others.

I'm about to go nuts trying to figureout what is wrong, could my lelevated enymes be causing me to feel this way?

Im not sure but it sounds a bit like when I had glandular fever. I was also very sick for 2 months and am still trying to get my energy levels back to normal. During the second month of my illness I went for a blood test and there was something wrong with my liver. I also had a fever and a rash, but it was all over my body, what you had sounds similar to this, but Im not sure...

Good luck anyway. :)

Hey Sheila,

I looked up PBC. I have none of the other symptoms other than Headache and hot feeling in my face. Do you have any of the other symptoms? Also all my blood chemistry was normal except for a very slight elevation in liver enzymes.

Yes Badgurl, I'm almost positive I did have mono back in march. I'm jus perplexed why I would still be having sysmptoms almost a year later :( Last August I had a mono test that tuened out negative.
