i take ativan 1mg 3 a day and prozac 20mg 1 a day for anxiety. The last few days, and for unkown reasons, my heart seems to be speeding up and skip beats (and i feel like the heartbeat is in my throat)...i'm having trouble swallowing....(it's like my jaw is really tired) my hands are shaking and so is my body. it's hard to type this. i don't know why it's like this. i tried calling my pschych to go in but the earliest is in 11 days!! i need help now! i don't have insurance otherwise i'd go to the er. please help!!

It's all in your head. You THINK you can't swallow, cause you are worried about your heart, it's causing these "symptoms" to appear.


I have trained my brain to now think i can't breathe when trying to fall asleep, i jump up like a fish out of water trying to get air, but it feels like i can't. It always passes, but by that time my heart is racing, throat dries out and it's not fun.

I'm never going to the hospital for anxiety related issues every again.
