Hi guys
Nearly 5 weeks from the surgery now and all seems to be fine.
I can gently rotate the foot and doesn't really hurt and on Sat I went out for a walk, put the foot down but no weight, just the walking motion... surprisingly was fine, no pain at all... swollen up a bit, but not too much and I think is normal, put some ice on it and backed off.
On Sun went out again for a walk... slow and easy and put a bit of weight on it, not too much, still had 90% of the weight on the crutches... again was fine, no pain at all, swollen up a bit, ice and was gone.
Today wanted to get off the sofa, for a second I forgot about my foot and got up normal with the weight on both feet... as soon as I realized it I jumped off it... the thing is... it didn't hurt.
Next week I will start the PT, I can't wait for it...
One thing I'm amazed about, is that I don't get any pain if I "step" on the foot correct...

Glad to hear how well you are doing and you only have 1 more week of NWB!
I would watch though the rotating of your foot... after my drilling I wasn't allowed to do that for quite awhile, just up and down only which helps 'shape' the re-growing scar tissue .. rotating or side to side wasn't allowed for months.
Go by what your OS says (not that other guy ;) but it sounds like you are doing great! :bouncing:
Kim :)
