I used the antidepressant Serzone for 8 months last year. I have not used it since October of 2001. It has recently been shown to cause liver failure in 1 of every 250,000 patients.
With 4 months between now and the last dose can I consider myself "out of the woods?" I feel fine, and am able to exercise and participate fully in daily life.
If you could educate me on the possible effects, whether the liver will repair itself with this, or if over time this medication can cause problems that would be great. I need to know that I'm not 1 of the 250,000.

You want to be one of the 249,999, not the 1. Those sound like pretty good odds.
