Is brain behaviour different , when two persons are fantasizing about sex , one person is not obsessed with sex thoughts and a other person is obsessed with sexual fantasies ?
I opened one porn site and after a while I was feeling weird, I dont know how to describe it. It was not about erection, but it was about somehing else. I was feeling like everything is away from me. I can think of one situation in the movie "Saving Private Ryan", in which when Tom Hanks is falling in the end, he just feels sounds and like everything is away. More or less same kind of things I feel while watching porn. I may be bit different but this I feel is closest I can describe. Can anyone pls explain my situation ?

Manishrathi, sexual encounters of any kind, whether porn or real life aren't like you have described. Not at all.. I think I might know what you are feeling though, when you say you feel "away from everything". When I was a child, up to the age of about 10 years old, I remember having sensations while lying still, like while watching television for an extended period of time, that I was very far away from everything. I could still see everything very well though. Kind of like feeling that my body became very small or something. It was a very weird feeling but a very distinct and memorable one. I have heard others make mention of similar sensations as well.

Maybe these feelings, if we're talking about the same feelings, are somewhat normal. I don't know.

However I don't think sexual matters have anything to do with these feelings. It is possible though that any one particular thing, like sexual feelings, visual or physical could trigger your "away from everything" sensations.

I believe I know what you're describing. I just can't explain it.

Hope I might have helped.

I don't really understand what you're saying, but in general, sexual fantasies are just fantasies. Don't worry about them too much unless they're really violent and you feel compelled to actually make them real or something.

Otherwise, it's just your imagination. Nothing more.

Thanks a lot. Since I dont know how to name that feeling, neither do you, we have to go by the description. The description of the feeling you mentioned exactly matches how I feel.

"Everything looks like small and away from me", thats exactly how I feel.

"It is possible though that any one particular thing, like sexual feelings, visual or physical could trigger your "away from everything" sensations."

This thing happens to me, only when I watch some porn sites and it does not hppen in any other situation. Is there any name for this sensation ? What may cause this sensation ?
I remember this happened to me first time when I was 17. I had the habbit of masturbation and sometimes I would do it 4-5 times in a day. 2-3 times in a row. I wont be able to sleep without masturbating and one day I had masturbated twice in a row and thats when I had this feeling (very light though) and I thought, I am getting in to sleep. Now its almost 20 yrs and I still get that sensations. Usually, when I get this sensation , I just look around , shake my head and I become normal. But last time it lasted way longer. I was feeling the sensation for almost couple of hours.Thats why I am scared.

Thanks for replying with exact symptoms.
