Hello-my son is on Tegretol for a seizure disorder-he recently had bloodwork and had an abnormal liver function come back-does anyone know anything about this?redone bloodwork-came back fine 2nd time-not geting much info from Dr-Thanks!

Tegretol as well as Dilantin can cause liver enzymes to go up. The easiest way to determine whether a medication is responsible for the elevation is to stop treatment and see whether the test results return to normal. I guess, this approach would not be very useful for somebody with seizure disorder.
