My sister-in-law age 52 died on 6/13/02. The doctors called it SDS. After running alot of tests (she was already brain dead) the said she had diabetes, her liver enzymes should have been around 40 - but were over 1200! Does anybody know anything about this? Or what would have caused the enzymes to be over 1200? They had to shock her heart over 36 times.

Sorry to hear about your loss! I can't comment on the liver enzyimes being so high, cause I am going through something similar with my husbands enzyimes going up (see my post) too and not knowing why. I just wanted to let you know that I am really sorry for you loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!
