HSV-2 is the virus that is usually found in the genital area. Safe child-bearing is entirely possible but it is important that the gynaecologist is fully aware of the infection. It may then be recommended to have a caesarean section to avoid transfer of the virus to the child.

yes absolutly. Sometimes a doctor may recommend medication right before delivering too, but that is totally up to you and your doctor.
