If someone is not breaking out or remain dormant is it possible to have sex with them without contracting the herpes virsus

Yes it is possible to have sex with someone not having an outbreak and not get herpes. Some couples do this for many years without spreading it to the partner. There is always a risk herpes can be spread when there are no symptoms but it is low risk.
