I can totally relate to what you are going through. I have had constant pressure and sometimes actual shooting pain behind my eyes for a couple of months now. After CT came back normal, bloodwork normal, and antibiotics that did nothing becuz my doc thought i MIGHT have a sinus infection, my dr decided im suffering from "anxiety headaches"....somedays they are worse than others, and most times its not actually a Headache, but more just a constant annoying pressure behind my nose and eyes...gets worse if i bend forward quickly or try to exercise at the pace i used to before i started having this problem, and always gets worse when im stressed. I do have a lot going on in my life right now stresswise, and trying to cope with this throbbing pressure 24/7 doesnt help. I also tried an allergy nasal spray which did nothing. I have slightly elevated blood pressure and have that under control with medication and i am taking xanax .5 3x a day as needed. i try to ignore the pain/pressure but that doesnt really help.. i also notice the pain and tenseness radiates down my neck and sometimes into my back.........I am going to try relaxation techquines and breathing/meditation to see if that helps at all. Just so you know you're not alone and its just so frustrating becuz i want to feel "normal" and back to the way i used to a few months ago. I wish you the best in any treatment you seek out, but if you are feeling stressed and anxious, u may be suffering from the same time of anxiety headaches that i am trying to deal with. good luck to you!

I can identify with the pressure across your head, I feel as if a giant hand has grabbed my head and is pulling it from side to side. ALAN

just to add to this discussion. I have had these bands, but i think this was due to anxiety stress. now that i have fliushed that out of my system i can pin point exactly where they are coming from, my neck) I have had this constant neck pressure (where the skull meets head) for about a year now, most of the specialists have just pointed to anxiety stress (i will soon find this out as i go to biofeedback where they hook you up to machines to test your stress levels). I have had blood tests done and mri of brain and Ct of brain and neck. on my last ct of neck it has said i have retrolisthese of C4 on C5 and C5 on C6, has anyone experienced these symtoms before or retrolisthesis? hopefully i can get it sorted out over the next few months. This could possibly be an issue for those with the tightness pressure feeling, have scans done on your neck. good luck =)
