This may be a weird question but I have a shooting pain straight in occassionally just about the pubic bone. It's almost like if you were inside it would be at the opening of the cervix. One time it happened the pain radiated down my leg. Almost like it was connected to a nerve. I am wondering if it is referred pain because I have had some rectal issues. Like a anal fissure at times ( I have had that checked out) or did I pull something at the gym. I have recently begun working out again. I have no discharge or really any other symptoms.

Any thoughts?? Is it a sign of a cyst or something? I have never had endometriosus (can't spell that) I haven't had any other problems with female parts. I am 44 and have all my female reproductive organs still intact.

Thanks for you replies!

Hmm, I had started working out again and I think that was when my pain had started up. I'm only 21 and it's in the same area and right across the pants line if I were wearing low rise jeans. My doctor thinks it's Endometriousis, I find out on Mon, or Tues what they found, if anything. I'm in a lot of pain right now and it seems to be worse when I sit.
