I went to my GYN yesterday because I've been having pain in my right side of my pelvis and some pain during intercourse. She looked at some picture of my pelvic area my surgeon took when he removed my gall bladder. What she saw was a very small cyst on my left tube. But said it was no big deal. She did a pelvic exam and said my right side felt fuller but was nothing significant. She put me on birth control pills and said to take it and skip a month of my period. Could a cyst on my left tube cause pain on my right? I had a CT scan a few months back but it came back clear. I know the pain is there but I'm starting feel like I'm crazy:dizzy: because apparently there is no cause for it.

You are not crazy. I have pain on my left side almost everyday. It is not constant, just off and on. I have had this pain for quite awhile and than it all suddenly stopped for a couple of years. I am now post menapousal and it started back up two years ago. My gyn doctor ordered an ultasound and it turns out that I had a golf ball size polpy in my uterine lining. He removed it and the pain disappeared. Unfortunately, polyps do grow back and I am sure mine has because the pain has returned.
You should call your gyn docs office and inform her that the pain is no better and request an ultasound (pelvic and trans vag) to get a more recent picture of the anatomy. If she does not agree, than seek out a second opinion.
I hope you begin to feel better.
