Antibiotics have no effect on viruses and nor will any of the other things you mentioned. They might just reduce the pain for a few moments but that's all. The only thing that can really help is an anti-viral medication called acyclovir and that has to be prescribed by a doctor. It exists in both pill and cream form. Unfortunately, this pills are only effective if they are taken in the first 3 days but the cream does help to soothe and dry the sores as long as they last - usually about 5-7 days with treatment. Next time you get them, go to the doctor immediately and you'll find the treatment helps enormously.
