I am 14 months post bunionectomies and have felt like I'm pretty much recovered. But, I have recently been having pain similar to the pain prior to surgery but with the addition of shooting pains from the big toe tips and pain between the big toe & 2nd toe back near the surgery site where there is a localized swelling. It is also tender to the touch. Does anyone know what would cause this? Could my screws be coming out?
