I have been diagnosed with gerd which seems to be the case. I get a numb burning in my back when sitting in certain positions, but not laying down. I has get a tight/stiff/tense throat. Ive had alot of problems from this and lost ALOT of weight. I am technically underweight by a BMI calculator now.

Can anyone make suggestions what i can eat to gain weight? I tried lots of milk seems to make the reflux worse, i tried lots of bread seemed to clog up my digestive system and my stool appeared really unabsorbed.

My metabolism is so fast i need aprox 3000 calories a day to gain weight. Yet on about 1000-1500 calories im stable at my low weight. (tried 2000-2500 calories for about a week with no weight gain.)

Really need some help here. thanks
