I just have been recently dx with an FNH of my liver. It was found incidentally while doing a CT on my orvaries. I'm very scared. I have been reading all of your post and it scares me more. I'm a big chicken about surgeries and have had surgery once before, (hysterectomy) and I had it the old fashioned way and had complications and was in the hospital for 7 days. This scares me more; because its such an important part of your body and will probably cause more pain after surgery. Right now I'm not having any problems with this tumor. The size is large 5.8x6.8x9.0 on the MRI scan. It is positve for an FNH. That's the good news. Bad news is I don't want to do anything with it right now. I haven't gone to a liver specialist yet. I'm just going to a gastro specialist. I just had a MRI on the 9th of March. My Dr. said he will wait for another 6 month check up, since I didn't want to do anything with it right now. I was just wondering if I should do something with it, or not. I'm feeling great right now and so scared of having a liver resection. I can't talk with friends or family; because they haven't had anything like this. No one in my family has had any liver problems either. I don't know. I'm just beside myself right now. Its good to know that there is a site like this one to chat with others that have the same problem.
