I’m not sure where to post this thread so here goes.
Over the last 30 years I have had spells of diaorea which were diagnosed as IBS.
Around 7 years ago I had an unexplained few weeks of extreme fatigue that doctors seemed to pass off because I looked ok. Since then I have had lots of spells of unwellness and have had many appointments and spent quite a lot of money but never got any diagnosis apart from IBS. Around 3 years ago I felt really ill with abdominal pains (colic type). I went to the hospital and was kept in for 5 days because they said my liver tests were off the scale. They couldn’t find the cause and over a few weeks my results returned to normal. I have had a colonoscopy and 2 upper gastroscopy. On one they found gastritis and asked many questions about alcohol and nsaids etc but I barely drink and don’t take nsaids.
Here are the symptoms I have experienced in this time.
Pressure in ears
Sweats
Lower abdominal colic
Headache
Dry mouth
Palpitations
Dizzy & Light Headed
Tired & fatigued
Nausea
Legs Swelling
Muscle Aches
Migraines with flashing lights
Burning in stomach
Bloated
Indigestion
Constant rumblings in stomach and intestines
Stiffness in legs
Feeling flushed
Problems sleeping (wake up with stomach probs)
Pain under left rib
During this time I have had at some time all of the following symptoms but lately mostly the ones below.
Over the last 6 months my symptoms have become much worse. Mainly bloating indigestion nausea stomach burning heart palpitations weakness in muscles migraines and flushy feelings etc. I am also having difficulty sleeping.
I am having blood tests this week and an upper gastroscopy in 2 weeks.
2 weeks ago I decided to miss out gluten and dairy for a few days . I did feel a little better and slept better but after 5 days I started to eat normal food because of my upcoming tests. On the first night I felt really ill again and thought I was on to something. Then for the next few days I felt much better and slept ok. I thought it must have been coincidence. However today all of my symptoms have returned.
There were a few weeks in January when I felt a lot better but then it all started again.
Any ideas appreciated.

Sorry this is so long but I feel your pain. Have you gotten anywhere on your symptoms yet?

1977 - At the age of 2 I was hospitalized for 7 days for a form of herpes. (unknown to drs)(Almost died) Severe fever, dehydration, covered in sores
1978 - From the age of 3 I started having bowel problems. Spent time at hospital as a child for abdominal pains and compacted bowels, doctors had to go in and remove stools through anus. Had to have enemas constantly growing up. This lasted for about 10 years.
1994 – Plastic surgery to face due to an extensive dog bite
1996 –abdominal pains began again – hospital visits over the years – no results (Orlando,FL)
1998 – Onset of vision problems (blurry, halos, double, colors (green on white walls), headaches, dizziness, floaters, squiggly lines, flashes of lights (purple dots), light sensitivity) This visual disturbances have remained since their onset date and have only gotten worse
1999-2002 – Nausea, severe pain under right rib, pain around belly button and to the right of belly button, headaches, constipation, diarrhea, (especially associated with alcohol), bloating, gas, extreme fatigue, muscle spasms, back pain, belching

Attending Gastro: Dr. Hirsch, he suspected I had Colitis. Bloodwork done at N. Side Hopsital said I was negative for Celiac but in a positive range for Colitis/Chrons.

Could not get out of bed, extreme fatigue, no appetite (lost 8 pounds) pain and pressure in abdomen and under ribs, nausea, dizziness, constipation, and diarrhea, extreme pain, extreme bloating causing severe pressure against abdomen and ribs, vision problems, red blood after bowel movement(possible hemorrhoid)
Hospital visit twice in TX. 1st visit, all was normal

Hi. Yes there has been a change. I knew I had gallstones but was told that my symptoms were not from the gallbladder. Anyway 6 weeks agao had had the gallbladder removed and its like a miracle cure. No more palpitations and I can eat anything I want to without problems. Not even on any tablets now. I had suffered for years before this.
Obviously thats no help for you as you have alsready had yours removed. I do hope you find a solution very soon.
