I don't have any questions, just wanted to stop by and see what it's like for those living with Cirhosis.

My Great-Grandparents both died from Cirhosis of the Liver. Then came my Grandma (their daughter) in 1993. She never drank. Around that same time my youngest aunt (also a non-drinker) was in her 40's and found out she had autoimmune Hepatitis. She was very sick for a long time, almost didn't pull through, but recieved a liver transplant in March, 2001. I started hearing a few months ago my other aunt (her older sister) had started having liver problems and I didn't know how severe. Well, Saturday night I got a call she was in the hospital in critical condition. I couldn't believe it. Sunday morning she passed away. My heart has been broken, I can't believe it. It went that fast. This disease is like cancer, it kills so fast. I'm still in shock, she was our family "rock". She was only 48. We are going to her funeral tommorow.

So I'm bound to become more familiar with liver disease. Knowing it seems to run in the family, I'm going to have my liver checked to be on the safe side.

Bless you all who suffer through it, know someone who suffers through it or has lost someone to it.

Thanks for listening.
