Has anyone heard of a disease in a dog causing their human owers to get sick. The disease in the dog I believe was called Leptispyrosis (spelling?) and the target organ was either the liver or kidneys. So long ago I don't remember.
This happened to my family 40 years ago. I'm trying to find out more about it.
Is the "L" word the right name for the disease in the dog? What was it called when in humans? Was it the liver or kidneys?
Your knowledge would be apprieciated.
