good morning :) my daughter is 14 1/2 months old, and im having a real problem feeding her breakfast. when she was younger she had baby breakfast food and some toast, she loves toast! however now shes got older she stopped eating baby breakfast as she wouldnt let me feed her anymore. i need something she can eat herself, and feed herself, at best no spoon. she now just has her milk, about 8oz and just toast. im wanting her to eat something better than this!
What do your kids eat at about her age? im open to any ideas!!
Thankies, Lucy :)

I have a very independent 13 month old who feeds herself so I try dry cereal, cut up fruit, cut up pancakes, you could also try grated cheese or scrambled eggs.

My dd will be 20 months old and really likes bananas and nutrigrain bars! Maybe try cutting these up for your daughter and give it a go. Scrambled eggs and silver dollar pancakes are a favorite as well. We don't do a lot of "mixing it up" because frankly, I just don't have the time. What she gets is what she gets! If she's hungry, then she'll eat! ;)

I feed my 13 month old the gerber cereal bars and he loves them, we also fix him pancakes, dry cereal, mini waffles, oatmeal and toast. I try to change it up everyday and offer something different, breakfast seems to be his favorite meal of the day. Hope this helps ya, I guess you just have to try different things until you find something they like.

My son gets all kinds off stuff at daycare, like mini multi-grain muffins, dry cereal, toast, pancakes, french toast, waffles, sausage, bacon, eggs, really just anything we would all normally eat, and then some fruit too. When he's at home, I try to make stuff, but it usually ends up waffles or pancakes, they're easy enough.

This is just a repeat of some of the other posters, but my 12 month old loves bananas. That's her favorite. But we also do scrambled eggs and fruit cocktail (no grapes). If I'm in a hurry & don't want a big mess to clean up, I'll pop an Eggo Pancake in the microwave and cut it up for her. She isn't too picky so far, as long as I let her feed herself.
