I just saw your message about your brother and I also have IPF. Contact Loma Linda Hospital in Loma Linda, CA.
Aug. of 1999 I was diagnosed with IPF and told that I was terminal. In Aug. of 2000
I was told that the medication (Prednisone) had stopped the IPF and that I was no longer terminal. That one year was hell for my wife and myself.
Wish your brother the same good fortune that I had.
