i am a 17 year old male, who had approxamatly half my lung removed last november for an unknown reason to me an my doctors, they knew what happened but not why. Has anyone had trouble like this, relating a bulla or bullae in the lower lobe of there lungs, resulting in removal an PAIN. Symptoms included nothing more than pain at exersise and sleep on nite, AA1 levels were fine, and all blood tests showed normal, broncshopy showed nothing wrong at all an CT showed everything.
What happened to my lung was that for some reason a valve of some type developed in one of my wind pipe, causing my lung to inflate but not deflate, plus i was smoker so bronchitis an emphesema set in.
Sound familer any one, please help it is really hard for me to get through collage not knowing what or why this happened
