View Full Version : Baby food rebellion - When will it end?

I know I posted recently on the same kind of thing.

I'm just getting so frustrated. I can't even begin to tell quickly how George has been with food in the last month.

He will eat things, but in addition to normal refusals, often it's as if he's ticked off that I "took" something from him - so he refuses ever again to eat it (scrambled eggs yesterday - just a small push away from edge of table)! Likewise with things he had a hard time handling - he hasn't forgotten. He couldn't handle macaroni (cheesy), got frustrated, and now refuses to try any pasta by hand even if it's much stiffer in fact. (He will eat tiny bits in baby food, when in the mood for latter, but seeing a "big" piece of pasta itself on his plate - nada.)

Name it, I've had trouble. I've had SOME luck, of course (back to baby food - at least Italian; and big chunks of meat), but it's all inconsistent and I don't know if the food I make is going to be OK for him.

It's really getting irritating. I also worry he's not eating enough then. When is this going to end?
