I was hoping someone may be able to answer a question for me. Is it possible to have bronchiectasis and not have a cough? I was diagnosed with this a few months ago (via spiral CT) after a bad case of slow resolving pneumonia. In everything I have read regarding this disease, it says that the most common symptom is a chronic, productive cough...which I do not have I do however have to "clear my throat" very hard alot of the time because I feel junk in my lungs, and that does clear it out. But because of doing that, I sound hoarse some of the time. Any info or personal experience would be greatly appreciated.
