Hi, I'm a 23 yr old male. About a week and a half ago, I started noticing that at times when I inhale it seemed more difficult than normal. It would go away. But now, it seems it is pretty much all day. The best way to describe it is, that when I inhale, it isn't realy easy like normal, rather, I have more resistance when I inhale, thus I have to breathe deeper to get the same amount of air. My exhale is fine. Also, I am not short of breath, but just breathing period has become more difficult.I wouldn't consider it severe, but it is really annoying. Also, it seems a little harder when I breathe through my nose only, but I can still feel the resistance with mouth too. I saw the doctor about a month ago and my lungs/breathing was fine. Any thoughts? Thanks!!

It sounds like an allergic reaction to pollens. Try taking a benedryl tablet and see if it gets better. I suggest that you see a different doctor. An allergist would be the best.

You can keep a basil dialator drug handy in the event it should get really bad. It could be a Broncaid Mist or Primateen Mist. They can be used occasionally but must not be abused or you might have worse problems.
