Hello all. My surgery is scheduled for tomorrow and while I am ready for this to be over, I am scared also. I am having ACDF at C6-7. I am ready for all the pain, numbness and weakness to be over but I know that I will likely have to undergo more surgery later. C5-6 is not in good shape and it will probably have to be removed at a later date.
I have learned a lot from reading this board and hopefully can contribute after my surgery. I plan to post updates as soon as possible. Thanks for all the info.

All the very best for your surgery tomorrow - hopefully, like me, you will have a really easy surgery and be relatively pain free and mobile from day 1!

The time will go in really quickly and before you know it you will be at the 6 week post surgery mark.

I remember vividly being wheeled down to theatre after being given a pre-med and joking to the theatre staff that I was now ready for my liposuction - I laughed and laughed at this, thinking it was really funny at the time, ..... cringe :o

Good luch and I will be thinking about you.

Hey Rob,

Please know that you're in my prayers and those aren't just words, but I really am praying for you. I am looking at surgery on 5, 6 & 7 in a few weeks myself, so hopefully we'll hear from you on here before I go in. I pray that you do well and your recovery is lightning speed. God bless you my friend.
