My husbands latest test results came back and they were worse than we expected. The disease seems to progressing faster than anybody thought it would. Instead of giving up or lamenting my husband continued to plan for our next vacation and continues to do the things he loves as much as he can. Even though he can't take 3 steps without his oxygen and even with has to rest every 10 he will not give up. He is what has kept me going, kept me fighting, not to give in to this. Don't get me wrong, we know what is coming and are very realistic about it. He has all his affairs in order but until he can't he is going to live and embrace every day.

I just wanted to let people know not to give up living. Every day is a gift and is precious, embrace it and it will help you get through the difficult times.

Take care

He has Usual Interstitial Pneuminitis or UIP. He is the end stage of the disease.
