My Dad is 80 yrs old. Last week he had a cancerous tumor removed from his colon. Five days later he is in CCU with congestive heart failure. So the past couple days he has been getting better but coughing something awful. Today the docs say that have found tuberculosis. Dad had TB from 1950-1952 and had to stay in a sanitarium. How does an old man get TB?? Before he said he came home with it from the war. I don't know about the prognosis. Can they clear this up and send Dad home?
