Hi Undra
I'm two years into my menopause and I did have for go through having a period twice a month and then maybe none another month. It could be a sign but maybe you should get your yourself tested to be sure. I did and it showed I had started the menopause. I'm no doctor so don't take this note as being defo. Go and get it checked it might be something totally different and take the not knowing out of your head.

I agree, it sounds like it could be a hormonal imbalance. You should go get your levels checked.

I think the true definition of menopause is when you haven't had a period for one year. Two periods a month can be common for a few years before you start skipping a month here and there and then altogether. You should try to get to a doctor to make sure though, all women are different and you could have symptoms of something else. You can get some bloodwork done and perhaps you are in peri-menopause, meaning your hormones are changing.
Hope this helps.
