Hi. I was recently diagnosed with high cholesterol & high blood pressure. The dr put on on a generic statin med. I have heard statins deplete the body of much needed nutrients. Is there a good supplement I can take to counteract the damage? I really appreciate any & all info!! :)

Coenzyme Q10, probably in the 50-100mg range daily, might not be a bad idea. Take with fats (or a meal) if using dry capsules. Kaneka-branded CoQ10 recommended.

Thanks for the response. I've done a little research and read a softgel absorbs much better than a dry capsule. Is that true? I will check out Kaneka brand!!
