I'm finding if I want to stay on Ambian and sleep 8 hour nights, I'd literally have to take it at bed time, and then take another dose when i wake up 4 hours later. I'm wondering if anyone has seen or head of this being done with a Dr.'s authorization. *This wouldn't include the Cr version I do like Ambian and for no woul be willing to do thisto finish a good night sleep.
Trazadone is now too weak for me, and my anxiety to work.

I'd be careful. you may not be asleep after 4 hours, but the general effects last for 8. You definitely don't want to be driving to work with 4 hours of ambien left in your system.

Have you tried Vistaril? I never found Ambien and other "sleeping pills" to work but Vistaril works pretty good.

I understand it's the CR that lasts longer. I am going to stay in until it's likely 100% worn off. I'm taking it very easy today and tomorrow. I don't actually have an appt. until 3 pm my time. I'm lucky to have a job that includes a lot of fexibility to do it when it's convenient for me. I so need it right now to regain energy and sleep though the rest of my body being used to being off of Skelaxin for spasms.
