Hi I am a 27 year old Female I am 5ft 9 slightly overweight with a BMI of 36%.. my only medical history was about a year ago I was diagnosed with three herniated discs and I have had one repaired due to sciatic nerve damage. I have a history of anxiety attacks and had a ekg and holster test one year ago and it just said random tachycardia.
23 days ago I began to have some really strange symtoms. For two days I began passing mucus out of my rectum (gross I know) 2 days later I began feeling fullness in rectum and bladder along with severe pain near bellybutton, right side, under ribs and low left side like ovary plus increased back pain. After 9 days (thought maybe flu or constipation took meds and laxatives but no relief) saw the doctor did cbc, liver function blood test -normal except high hemoglobin. I had stool tests done all normal. I had CT with contrast that was also normal. I am still having extreme abdominal pain but also over the last week I have begun having chest pains (not all the time) a constant burning sensation in my stomach, the right side of my neck is tender to the touch. The doctors found blood in my urine I can also see white things floating in it and sometimes very cloudy. Doctor said he was concerned because he could feel my aortic artery in my stomach "banging away" and I am not a thin person so he said that was abnormal. When the pain is very intense my temperature drops down to 94-95 degrees and I begin to shake uncontrollably (this is very different from when I have anxiety because my breathing remains normal and I don't have a foggy feeling also xanax has no effect and usually it puts me right back on track) So when this happens I get into a boiling hot bath and after about and hour I feel a little better...still pain but no shaking etc and by then my temp goes up to around 99 degrees (shock?) My blood pressure has also been through the roof since the pain started and I have never had even the slightest increase in BP.Doc says its normal because I am in so much pain (I cried when he pushed on my stomach and I am used to pain with the back surgeries/weekly pain injects etc)
over the last week I can feel the pounding of my heart on the right side of my belly button and I can see my pulse in my stomach (even when I hold my breath it is still there so not normal breath movements). My stomach looks swollen and it is kinda hard it especially hurts now on the right upper side and around bellybutton. with the CT they would have found kidney stones/probs (what we thought it was) and also I think if it was an aneurysm that would have been seen too (ct was abdominal and pelvic with contrast) I am pretty freaked out but taking my anxiety meds and trying to meditate to keep my mind off things. PLEASE doc doesn't have a clue where to turn next if anyone has any info please respond. I really need some advice. Thanks -Jen

The danger that an abdominal aortic aneurism poses would cause me to look to a cardiologist or to a specialist who could check that possibility thoroughly.
In fact, a trip to the ER now, like today, would probably be my next move.
I wish you all the best and hope you can get a quick resolution of this problem.

Thanks bill I have contemplated that but my insurance will only pay for er if it is a weekend or my doc approves me to go otherwise they only pay for what my doc orders. He told me to go if I began having shortness or breath or I have severe pain that doesn't get a little better in a few hours. I have packed my stuff about three times but with the hot baths and a few hours the pain does decrease enough to be kind of bearable it definitely hurts a ton more if I move all around (I plan on doing a bunch of cleaning before seeing my doctor today I want him to see me in pain so he can more acurrately diagnose ), he kinda is a horrible doc anyways I have only been seeing him for a little while he is a DO and believes in herbal remedies and healing with energy I have some belief in that stuff but not for serious problems (I had surgery to repair my back after trying some of his energy healing and had no effect I think it psychosomatic stuff it helps with) So I am trying to get through until we figure something out just so I don't have thousands of dollars in bills. Thanks for reply and you are probably right, I am still interested in anyone else who has had similar symptoms? THANK YOU -Jen

Jen,
what do you think is the main problem? Which pain -abdominal or chest- is worse? Do you think they are connected? Have you experienced chest pain with your tachycardia in the past?
There are many causes of chest pain - musculoskeletal, cardiac, gastrointestinal, lung, psychiatric and referred pain from other areas of the body, such as neck or gallbladder. So, your abdominal pain and chest pain might not even be related.
I have some issues that also include abdominal distention and sometimes pain. If you haven't had one recently, you should probably schedule a gynecological exam to cover all the bases. Female reproductive system disorders or abnormal growths can result in these types of symptoms. A quick, inexpensive ECG would also be a good idea. :)

maybe urinary problems or kidney stones
which kidney stones can cause front pains and back
i was about your age when i started having fast heart beats which was nothing to do with my kidney stones years later.
