my daughter has calcifications that are benign.I her mother had a double mastectomy my calcifications were cancer.whatdo you think I could advice my daughter. she is afraid that she will have to worry all the time.Do you have a professsional dr that you know of can be thorough in calcifications and breast cancer

If there is a family hx, it might be good to go to a breast health center or even an oncology group with breast surgeon's/oncologists that specialize. These are expecially good for "high risk" women with a family hx, as they will keep a close eye on your dtr, and may order special tests like an MRI, which can find some cancer's earlier than a mammogram (although MRIs can also show false positives).
